Looking for a top-tier luxury experience in every [un]usual corner of the globe
Founder + creator of SOMMVOYAGE, Rebecca has been a passionate oenophile for as long as she can remember. What began as a summer job waiting tables soon transformed into an all-consuming interest, from taking seminars, classes, devouring books and even exploring some college courses outside her major at Boston University. Rebecca decided to pursue her interest formally with the Court of Master Sommeliers at the ripe age of 21. Now Certified, she’s wracked up experience, not only as a Sommelier on the floor, but also as a freelance consultant, wine salesperson & importer and the like. Outside the vinous, Rebecca prides herself on her attention to detail, fervor for textiles, gymthusiasm and cat mom-dom.
wHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
In every travel experience
Unique [often remote or lesser-known] locale with distinguishable features that make it distinctly separate from other places in its same category - “cultural terroir”
Benchmark, world-class luxury destinations that live up to the hype
True luxury accomodations that reflect that sense of place, often small or boutique in nature
The best food and beverage experiences a place has to offer
A good local mineral water
The blending of nature, outdoor recreation and fine food and wine
Work hard, play hard mentality - things to do and things to consume (equal parts output and input)
Achieving all of the aforementioned criteria while stacking points, rewards, or employing general travel-hacks makes every vacation, a dream vacation
Travel as a lifestyle - we seek true integration of exploration and excursion with our real lives. Not escapist, but epicurean with a hedonistic flair.

We went to Iceland for Thanksgiving one year in an act of rebellion
